Soccer is inherently political, that’s just part of the culture. I don’t think it was necessarily from the get-go, like, this is gonna be inclusive, we’re gonna support LGBTQ charities and this is the day we’re gonna have rainbow shit everywhere and this is gonna be the gayest supporter section in the country.
