Prideraiser 2026
SUPPORT. RESIST. DEFEND.
Every June, the Northern Guard Supporters, along with other DCFC supporters and soccer fans across the country, raise money for organizations supporting LGBTQ+ initiatives in their communities.
We are proud to once again be supporting the Ruth Ellis Center, which provides health, wellness and many other support efforts for at-risk LGBTQ+ youth in metro Detroit.
Make your pledge by clicking the link below, then follow Detroit City Football club during the month of June. For every City goal scored by the men’s and women’s teams, we’ll raise more money to the Ruth Ellis Center with the incredible work they do in the community.
How can you help?
For 2026, we are pledging against all goals scored by the senior DCFC men's and women's teams in the month of June. That's TEN matches, and TEN opportunities to support this critical work that benefits Detroit’s at-risk LGBTQ+ community members.
We’re asking you to join us in pledging some cash $$/goal to support this invaluable resource, or if you're only passing through, we are also accepting one-time-donations (one time donation link is on our Prideraiser pledge page)!
About the campaign
Founded in 1999, the Ruth Ellis Center works with LGBTQ+ youth. Nationwide, LGBTQ+ youth have a 120% higher risk of homelessness than their peers. To address that, Ruth Ellis Center has four facilities in Detroit and Highland Park including drop-in centers, a health & wellness center providing integrated primary and behavioral healthcare services, and a permanent housing facility with integrated services that opened in 2022.
