It’s about so much more than soccer
From the beginning Detroit City FC supporters have made it their mission to support the community just as passionately as they do the Club. On Friday, July 18, as DCFC plays its only nationally-televised game of the year, we put our voices to work for both.
Detroit City FC supporters have always stood for our community as fiercely as we support our club.
Today, during DCFC’s nationally-televised match, supporters have united to amplify messages of justice, equity and dignity.
Banners spanning the supporters side of Keyworth Stadium were painted by members of the Northern Guard and Coalition, as well as independent supporters. The displays champion causes critical to many in our community and aren’t merely symbolic — they’re a call to action.
DCFC supporters don’t just talk the talk — we show up for our community which is why we hope you'll heed that call and join us in making a difference through NGS Cares, our community involvement initiative. You can learn more about NGS Cares at at noonelikes.us/ngscares.
Additionally, we’ve also compiled a list of community organizations covering a myriad of issues who need your help. Please take a moment to learn more about their work and consider how you can get involved below.
